Meet Skyler

"My name is Skyler. I wanted to join the jazz band so I could follow in my big sister’s footsteps - she played clarinet. When I first got my saxophone I was very new to it. I had no idea how to play the keys, I didn’t know any notes. But now I can play difficult songs; difficult for most people, but easy for me. Now they're so much easier and I just play right through them. Jazz band has made me look forward to being at school, because that's when I get to play beautiful music on my saxophone with all my friends."
